Las Cerámicas is our open air ceramics craft space, with equipment available to rent by experienced potters and ceramics instructors, plus a schedule of classes led by local artisans.

Our studio equipment includes:

  • 12 cubic ft electric kiln

  • 2 electric potter wheels

  • 2 manual extruders

  • 1 electric extruder

  • 1 30-inch slab roller

  • Shelving space and clay are available for purchase

We opened our studio as a way to support local art and culture through the medium of ceramics. Our intention is to provide a space for developing and practicing this beautiful art form, and to build strong connections to the traditional pottery craft of the Guanacaste region.
