The hand building class with Amilkar is an experience for everyone, where through the direct modeling technique we expose the student to what is often their first contact with clay. As the class progresses, we will experiment with simple exercises and learn ancient techniques used by indigenous communities. The main objective of the class will be to seek to master the material through practice and with the guidance of the teacher in his quest to develop the potential in each student.

During the class, we will discuss together about the origin of the clay we are manipulating, its composition, uses, the diverse creative possibilities it offers and we will delve into the history to learn about the ceramics that have been made with this material around the world. .
