Ceramic Sculpture Workshop by Amilkar Palacios

In this immersive two-day workshop, participants will work with 10 kilos of clay to create a hollow figurative sculpture using traditional hand-building techniques.

The experience begins with a live demonstration by Amilkar Palacios, exploring the process of sculpting a solid figurative form and then hollowing out the interior to transform it into a ceramic piece ready for firing. Together, we will explore different approaches to form, style, and complexity.

Day 1: Modeling and shaping the sculpture
Day 2: Hollowing, refining, and finishing details

A space to explore volume, emptiness, and expression through clay — and to leave with a unique sculpture shaped entirely by your own hands.
